Michael McNerney

Principal

Mike has over 20 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting. He has extensive experience working closely with small to mid-sized businesses and their owners.  Mike has worked extensively with clients in the following industries:  manufacturing and distribution, real estate, entertainment, and construction to name a few. Before joining SFW Partners, Mike spent 10 years at a local public accounting firm, serving closely held family business clients. Prior to that, Mike worked in the tax department for a local Fortune 500 company and started his career at BKD, a national CPA firm.

Mike graduated in 2000 with a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Mike is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys coaching his 3 sons in baseball and football and spending time with his wife at sporting events.
